Hand / Thrown Holiday Market Returns to the ICA!
We’re so excited to return to the Institute of Contemporary Art at VCU from December 6th through 8th to host our sixth annual holiday market! Our pop-up market features work from 21 ceramic artists who teach, work, and make at Hand / Thrown Studio. Swing by, grab a snack from the cafe, and shop this beautiful collection of local wares!

The ICA Cafe features locally-made small bites and beverages served on hand-made ceramics from local and national artists.
Current exhibitions at the ICA include work by Caitlin Cherry, Loie Hollowell, and “Dear Mazie,” a group exhibition inspired by Amaza Lee Meredith.
